Getting Ready – A Morning Filled with Joy

The day began at Lauren’s family home, where she was surrounded by her closest friends and loved ones. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as everyone prepared for the big day. I started by capturing the small but meaningful details—her elegant wedding dress hanging by the window, sparkling bridal jewelry carefully laid out, and the finishing touches on her makeup and hair.

After a heartfelt champagne toast with her bridal party, it was time to head to Sage Restaurant, where Joel and their guests eagerly awaited her arrival.

Sage Restaurant, a breathtaking Vancouver wedding venue, is nestled next to the UBC Rose Garden, offering stunning ocean views and lush greenery. The outdoor ceremony space, set beside a serene pond, was a picture-perfect setting for Lauren and Joel’s vows.

Joel stood at the altar, eyes filled with anticipation as Lauren walked down the aisle, her dress flowing in the soft breeze. Next, we moved to the UBC Rose Garden for the newlywed portraits. This location is a dream for any wedding photographer in Vancouver—the beautifully landscaped gardens, stunning views of the ocean and mountains, and the golden sunlight filtering through the trees made for an incredibly romantic setting.
